OK so Update. I've just gone to check the votes and as it stands I have 3 valid votes and 8 invalid votes...
I don't think that is fair on the people. I intend on declaring a revote so that we can get this fixed but I'll wait a day or two to see if there is any objections to that decision.
Ok having booted up Wreckfest, I can't see a way in which tires affect PP, at least on the Bulldog.
Later today I'll investigate.
"Which gives you a 611 Class A Bulldog with the Engine and 709 Class A Bulldog when adding the tires"
under my understanding of the PP (or PI as I called it earlier) system, the rating its only affected by power and weight. How did tires add 98 PP to the car?
I think the best course of action is to follow what the devs do, if they make an S class (for example) then we add that, else we stick to the current ABCD as per the game.
Basically cars such as the current bulldog who have a current PI of 706, whilst the rest cap out not far above 300.
edit: In the comment it was noted that the next highest is 365.
It has been suggested to me that we should create a separate category for ultra fast cars such as the tournament bulldog as they are insanely fast compared to the traditional A class cars. I haven't got much of an opinion on this (i found the bulldog impossible to drive when I tried it yesterday) but with the likelihood that more cars get engines like this it is worth discussing if we want to split the class. I leave this thread here for people to voice their opinions.
How I see it:
Pros of splitting the category
- A class remains competitive and not just who can drive the bulldog the best (until a second tournament car comes along).
- New category to get more WRs in.
- Variety of cars in the original A class.
Cons of splitting
- Goes against how the game displays cars: could be confusing for new players given the bulldog is still officially an A class car.
- Extra work for the moderation team.
- At present the category would only have one car.
- If this change is made, then it would mean we should probably also change how D class works?
Ok folks, it is now voting time.

Reply to this topic as to if you want to become a mod and why you are the best person. I'll put it to a vote in a week or so.
To make the main timing simpler, the standard timer is now Time without loads.
I'll look into it, I suspect its due to time with/without loads
Minor board edit, IGT has been removed and replaced with time without/with loads. For now, we will time with loads for full game runs but once we have a system worked out to do this automatically we will convert across.
After a request on the discord, I have added full game categories for any of you crazy enough to try it. If there is any questions please ask.
Have updated the boards with the new circuits. They are displayed below the older circuits so as to maintain the order on the board.
