So far it seems huntress and barbarian are equally fast. impossible to say unless theory TAS is made because perfect end boss will never happen for both categories. Huntress can be 5+ seconds ahead barbarian when entering last room, but barbarian can kill the boss at least 5 seconds faster. I guess wizard needs to be explored next, maybe he is the fastest :D can't be though because he can't spam the boss unfortunately. Edit: Made wizard routing tests for couple hours and some attempts. Wizard is the slowest character for sure. Mostly because:

1. He takes longest knockbacks from running through enemies.
2. he has to stop to shoot enemies on the ground if boosting is not possible.
3. he can only hit one head of the boss at the time = 10-15 seconds slower boss fight over barbarian.

Of course new grazy strats can be found, but so far wizard cannot compete with huntress and barbarian in time.

yeah, haven't played this enough yet to be able to know differences well. So far Barbarian weapon seems to have wider hitbox, because you can kill enemies below you much easier but maybe huntress has better reach. I'm not interested in warpless at all this time, so just wondering if anyone made theory stuff about fastest character in Any% etc. I tend to focus mostly on fastest completion of games. So far huntress and barbarian seem to be very close. Could be only some seconds apart optimally.

Hey guys. Just started running this game and only been doing runs on huntress any%, But after testing barbarian it seems that he is faster because of more damage he deals and even thought huntress have higher jump, you don't really save time much with it. Also huntress deals less damage and takes more damage. With barbarian i was able to run through most enemies while using only 1 extra health potion. End boss is much faster and easier with barbarian because he makes 1/3 (or something like that) more damage, Hitbox of his axe is also bigger it feels. Route is pretty much the same than with huntress but damage makes the difference in speed.

What have you guys learned so far with this game, what character is the fastest in theory? haven't touched wizard yet

Edit: Did barbarian run and it is faster run, but still not sure which character is faster optimally...
