@Swskrei sorry, I thought i did. here:
-
This doesn't seem possible, however I would be willing to be proven wrong.
-
This would convince me, however I would also need a hand cam of you doing the crazy pause buffering l5 strat you say you can do.
-
No, I mean his l3 run: https://www.speedrun.com/appel/runs/z1kl59wy

Sorry, I should have shared this before: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1147978412/

I am very much accusing Michael of cheating and am currently collecting more data.
I got a .96 so ill use that time. It's because the spinney eye thing in undeterministic so it varies from replay to replay.
1 is a keypress. I made it detect not((key - up) == 0)
Amazing! I don't think it is possible to collect any less!
I would do this, but it would would make this category too hard to moderate, so I'm not going to do this.
Hey, please use this mod to time your runs: https://turbowarp.org/888364503/fullscreen Thanks!
@MD_speedruns try loading the replay code in fullscreen if you didn't or out of fullscreen if you did
@DubleSpratt this is not true. The only people who have perfectly repetitive inputs on level 5 (the only level with a section this long that can be mesuted this way) are sir farcelot and Michael. Neither sw nor anyone else had this issue in their level 5 runs. I looked at every level 5 runs I could find and made a tool for this.
I personally completely agree with you, however I see no reason for the replay codes to be so different from every other runner's. I would have thought anyone who accused sir farcelot of cheating was crazy and just being mean. I would never have accused him of cheating unless I was sure he did. I do find all of your points valid and am a bit confused about some of them. I really would prefer it if we could somehow know for sure if sir farcelot is actually cheating, whether that be him showing like a hand cam and a long session at a high level or just an admission. I do know that your turbowarp point is not valid, as I and many others have used it with no issues and also turbowarp doesn't change anything about how the math works in scratch. I really hope sir farcelot can just give proof that he's innocent and maybe an explanation of why these anomalys are happening. Sorry is this message is a bit messy, I'm on vacation and typing this on my phone.
He let's go of the inputs at 15.36. He posted it as a 15.2 and it ran on my computer as a 15.26. If it were that my computer ran the replay differently than it would mean that sir farcelot's run was at least actually a 15.36. this wouldn't make any scene because he would have posted it as that. Also most of the runs just held the up and right keys after the last jump so their last inputs were at like 14 seconds.
@CAKEC0DER no, it doesn't, however sir farcelot's do, which is impossible, causing me and others to believe his runs were tassed.
I would be fine with perfectly repetitive keypresses if it actually saves any time, however there is no reason to be this precise, so it seems very unnecessary. Also that differences on the timer display are just because of differences in how browsers display text. This does not change gameplay in any meaningful way. However, it is impossible that different browser do string parsing differently, and this is the main reason to believe that sir fracelot's runs are cheated.
