I agree with your thought process but the rule makes sense from a moderation standpoint, however I would be more inclined to have runs adjusted to start from chapter 1 to avoid dealing with the tedious prologue. Meaning you would be only allowed to select ch1 and not any others.

This of course would mean I'd be retiming all the runs again lol

Hi, I posed the same question to the previous mods regarding platform differences and was told that load times are significantly different enough to enforce seperate leaderboards. I don't own an Xbox so I can't really confirm this. I agree that having a single leaderboard with all the runs would be better and will be something I'll look into after doing autosplit testing and retimings.

The new mod is a friend of mine, while they don't have on-site experience they are a speedrunner and will primarily be helping me with verification and re-tiimings as I have found myself quite busy with other projects. This should help move things along but I can't promise immediate changes as of yet.

Honestly I didn't know this existed, RTA will stay for now as I would have to retime every run manually and thats alot of work :(

Completing the mission is also "optional", as you can end the operation with a "Pointless Sacrifice" (dying without completing main objective) and still be given a results page including time. Shorter means less room for optimization, which means times are going to be maxed pretty quickly, making categories stale. Forcing players to have all members extract can make for more exciting runs when it comes to larger missions, allowing different strategies like splitting off or 4-manning objectives among others. I also believe this change will help leaderboard longevity as it will take much longer to max times as stated before. This is my 2 cents as a long-time runner and moderator. Please let me know your thoughts

Speedrunning offing yourself seems very silly, all runs should require triggering the extraction cutscene to finish, this allows more strategy when path selecting especially when runs allow multiple players.

I'll look into this sometime next week and make the necessary changes
