I made a website (my first actual site ever) that you can use to keep track of your items for 100% or other collectible intensive categories. Hopefully it ends up being useful for someone.

You can find it at: http://www.hyrulecompendium.com/index.html

EDIT: I can only guarantee that it works in Chrome.

Maybe it has something to do then with the horse wanting to jump but stopping instead. I didn't test for too long, but I would either stop way prior cause my timing was bad or late. When I was stopping late the horse would ignore the command and jump the pot anyways. There may be a window in the timing where you can trick the game into stopping, but also trying to jump and that sends you sliding.

When you got off the horse were you in the camp? I was trying to replicate it and thought maybe when you jumped off you landed on the cooking pot or stool. The cooking pot will push Link off of the top and stools have some wonky collision resolution. If that's the case though replicating will be really hard.

Good stuff. Only thing missing in terms of 100% is locations but I don't think anyone has a confirmed list. I have one that might be accurate but I haven't tested it yet.

As far as I know saving and loading also resets all enemy positions. I was being thwomped by Guardians at Central Tower and I saved and reloaded and got it no problem cause none of the Guardians were around.

Edit: I also just used this to de-aggro wizrobes and lizalfos near Ridgeland tower. Also got onto it with the paraglider lol.

I haven't seen mention of this but with the way 100% is looking like it's panning out what about a 110% category which gets literally everything. For instance identifying every item by picking it up as well as filling the compendium.

It'd be a long ass run but I was planning on doing it segmented and see how that goes. The Guinness record for longest video game marathon is 180 hours so I'm hoping it's just a bit longer than that, though I think it might be quite a bit longer.

Just a thought anyways since 100% isn't likely to be true 100%.

Not sure about save files, but you can use Gecko cheats in order to practice. I know Phil recommends this all the time.

If my pasting of the link doesn't work (I'm on mobile) you can find it under the Resources tab to the left.

Is there an easy way to print these codes in the format you have them in the spreadsheet? My browser would only allow me to print pieces of the page at a time and I like having hard copies of stuff like this.

I was thinking about this too because it's the natural course to take if you're building up to any full runs. Might as well have world ILs on top of normal ILs. And yeah, it makes sense to rollover the same categories from other runs.

I don't see why you wouldn't do a no badge 100%. Unless you're strictly talking about ILs in which case some must be 100% ILs if a badge doesn't assist on a level. I'm not too certain if there are any because I don't do or really plan on doing badge runs.

Plus all collectibles and 100% are different in the fact that all collectibles is all flowers, yarn and stamps and 100% is finishing with all hearts as well. And since taking damage could sometimes be faster, some people might prefer all collectibles to 100%.

I think I see why they wouldn't do a no badges any% because there wouldn't be too much skill involved as compared to collectibles and 100%. That's why any% runs may be faster, but usually aren't that impressive. Looking at Trihex for Yoshi's Island, you see why 100% is more impressive and requires more skill.

I wanted to start learning the game and haven't watched anyone else play because I want to get fast on my own and then search out strats. Before that though, I was wondering if the runs include the Special levels in each world. I figure it must for 100% but wasn't too sure if it did for Any%.

Thanks!
