So, I'm a newbie wanting to get into PS4 running, and I'm trying to find a cheap(ish) way to record my footage. I found remote play, however my computer experiences bad frame drops when playing, which would effect timing (my laptop is an absolute piece of garbage for heavy duty stuff like this). https://9apps.ooo/ My question is, would a capture card alleviate this, or would it just be another way to capture the footage, but still experience the frame drops because of my pc? Will I just be forced to upgrade to a gaming laptop that can handle remote play or a capture card (which I have wanted to do, and I do have the money, but I'm moving soon, and that would be a lot of money)?
