This is probably a bad idea, but there were so many great moments during this marathon and I'd like to see them gathered in one place, so I'm reaching to you with this idea of mine. I want to sacrifice myself and prepare a highlight reel, which would include all the amazing moments and good maymays from the marathon. I think this would make for a great memento of this marathon. All I want from you is to list ALL the memorable moments of this marathon. I didn't watch every single run and I don't really want to spend another ~100 hours of my life watching the entire marathon all over again, so I'm counting on you people. Just remember about this when you are rewatching yours or someone else's runs. Please, include timestamps if you can, or at least leave me a clue that can help me find it. I can also probably include twitch chat if there is a need for it (inb4 it's going to take ages) I'm going to start working on this after my finals (2nd half of May), so you have a lot of time to post your suggestions. Of course it would be best if you did it as fast as possible, because you probably won't remember anything by the end of this month. Hopefully, I'll be able to deliver the video sometime in June (it depends on amount of your suggestions, if I don't get many of them this video will mostly consist of Driver 4Head )

EDIT: I changed my mind and I'm actually going to rewatch the entire marathon for a certain secret reason (or at least run it in the background and depend on audio cues). If you want to make my life slightly easier and you are going to rewatch any run in its entirety, please contact me, because there's something I'd like you to look for. I also have 60 days until gtamarathon broadcasts disappear (I can download them, but I'd like to keep chat in its original form), so I've got to hurry up. And yeah, please keep posting your personal highlights, I won't be able to catch everything on my own.

I think you could also use the Python rampage, Minigun is closer but in my case this would require crapload of rerouting because of Vigilante. If you care about every second you should consider replay buying PW, Skumole Shack or Hyman Condo (PW works great for me, for others this may be an overally bad idea) This sounds scary, but on the other hand, you get those 8 minutes to do stuff IRL in the middle of the run Kreygasm

I was wondering if hidden teleporters and mirror codes that teleport you to places which contain huge amounts of money should be allowed in runs. I built those leaderboards based on existing runs of those games, which resulted in incosistency with one rule. In MM6 it's generally accepted to make use of NWC dungeon (as the bonuses aren't that great, can be easily skipped with good RNG and the dungeon itself feels more like an easter egg). On the other hand, gammadragon in his MM4 run banned the "gold mine" (technically that place can be discovered with huge amount of luck, just like NWC dungeon) to make the run longer and more entertaining. There's an MM3 run that makes use of such a "gold mine" and I don't know what should I do about it. If NWC dungeon is allowed, this should be allowed too, but somehow that doesn't feel right.

I'd like to know what's your opinion on this.

I really have no idea how to explain this. Killing game's process should make things go back to normal. Apparently, the former process didn't close properly and it was sharing memory(?) with the next instances somehow.

Anyway, just make sure that before creating your main party, 5th character is sitting on its place and restart the game everytime an attempt fails. I probably didn't understand it correctly, but you should do the skill points setup already on new party. And as far as I'm concerned, having blue screen doesn't really matter and shouldn't break the game when you're playing with 5th slot on a fresh party.

It's possible to keep rampage weapon with replay rampage start (from a vehicle) if you start it in flintstones mode. Normally it's replaced with SMG (if you have one) after you re-enter the vehicle.

But... for GTAM I'd rather to stick to Mumble. I used Discord's voice chat only once and it disconnected me from it without any reason and notification after about 3 hours. Mumble is stable and was tested for years, I'd personally stick to it. It's also lighter than Discord resource-wise (I'm probably the only one who cares about that)

Pursuit and Getaway are RNG-heavy, they don't even have in-game leaderboards. I'd also remove Survival for now since it may be confusing for some people. Carnage is apparently PC exclusive as I can't find it in PS version and other than that everything's alright. And yeah, thanks, (I hope) we'll try to populate it soonish

Oh and is it possible to add milliseconds column and remove requirement for video proof? Image proof should be enough, those are ILs after all and I think we'll be using only in-game time.

Driving games are slowly starting to get runners attention, so I thought it might be a good idea to spice up the competition with some dank leaderboards for Cross Town Checkpoint, Trail Blazer and Dirt Track levels.

This makes sense for Death Row, but what about Gun Runner? If you run away from your car on a certain distance, it despawns and it doesn't look like blocked door is causing it, especially that your targets are not hostile before you attack them. You might want to take a look at what's happening during this mission, maybe it will reveal more of that magic.

There already is a 3rd "non evil app" - overlooked Earleys' MP3 Randomizer (I believe it reads game state from memory)

To be honest this entire discussion is pointless. If someone decides to 'cheat', he will just do it, no matter if it's banned or not. At the moment there's no way to prove that you're not reading memory with some evil intentions. And even if we made program to check for others application that are accessing GTA's memory, it could be easily fooled by anone who really cares. None of the runs could be verified unless it's done on LAN party with different speedrunners who can prove that no suspicious software was running at that time. Adding a rule which mentions memory watching will only encourage people to use it. I guess that most of the runners are not really aware of this and when they see an additional rule, they may get interested in memory watching. But if you HAVE TO force this ban, I vote for option number 2.
