My route is holy squirtgun, frost arrow, lightning zapper.
You skipped a gun and that might save loads of time, but it would require some testing
Very nice! That character choice is really good. I didn't think skipping holy squirt gun could be a strat. Although, I think it works out to around the same time as getting the squirt gun. This is very close to saving a lot of time. I I don't know where the time save is though.

If you want to get faster times, you should try a few things.
- You should watch some other runs and check out some other gun routes.
- Something I noticed is that you bought the bubble launcher far after you could afford it. You could have bought it ASAP and used it to get fast kills.
- The mini zombie should be swapped out for the mega robot. They're only a little more expensive, but much more worth it.
- If you're using a minion route, there's something you can do called a desync, where you basically walk into a wall and your minions keep walking past you, off into the distance. It's a good way to cover more ground.
Like I said, it's good to see sub 20s. You're automatically better than most people on here.
I would look into a mid game weapon to speed up the early to mid rounds. I dont even call a run a success if it isnt sub 20, and thats one of the major things thats holding you back right now

You could have gotten a faster time by buying different guns. Frost bow to bubble launcher works really well. That's fine. The other person should probably focus on buying stronger/more meta guns. The Holy squirtgun and the Tri shot are the ones that come to mind.
Sometimes having a 2nd person means you can start taking advantage of minions more. I dont have any strats for it, but it might be something to consider.
The bubble launcher doesnt take rocket ammo, it takes light ammo. It works really well with the frost arrow because it also does water damage, and it takes a different ammo type. That mostly spplies to All characters and hats allowed, when you can make a water magic build, but its still A good route in any case.
A few times you guys passed up on medkits and ammo that you could have picked up by healing or holding out your weapons. You can overfill your weapon ammo by reloading and holding out the weapon, It lets you store an extra clip of ammo, stuff like the bubble launcher really benefit from it.
The biggest time saving strat has to be splitting up. The game doesnt like spawning zombies on top of you, so it tends to place them on the other side of the map. If you two split up, zombies spawn right on top of you. Normally this is annoying, but for speedruns its great.
I know in hard mode I tend to aim for 1 minute and 10 seconds per wave. I dont ever really play normal mode, so I dont know the average for this category. Someone needs to optimize it. Hell, even playing multiplayer could change that time, but we still dont know if its longer or shorter.
