You're right about the right edge being promising! We've actually already found a way to clip through it: This lets us do a sequence break that skips all of rooftops!

We've been discussing this in the Stray Discord a bit, the main issue rn is even if we can get to here from the fenced area, the factory is probably unloaded until the cutscene with Blazer walking you in :/ might still be worth looking into just in case!

I've also noticed that at Clementine's apartment, the Sentinels sometimes react when nearby ones spot you. I've gotten a "pattern" where a Sentinel on the 2nd floor was just looking down and I could walk past easily, and the 3rd floor Sentinel by Clementine's window wasn't even there for me - it just wandered off. So there may be a strategy to consistently manipulate the Sentinels to look/move to certain places to make it even easier to get past them.

Hey y'all,

Found this like 5 minutes ago! I don't suspect this will be particularly useful? But there's an invisible ledge that you can just jump onto when you're in the bucket coming from the Neco factory, allowing you to walk OOB! Except it's limited to a small invisible area. Probably will be patched soon but in the meantime it's kinda funny!

Hey y'all,

After doing a quick playthrough and looking at some of the suggestions made on the forum, I figured I could take a shot at coming up with a route for getting through the Slums and Midtown.

This would be an any% route, so collectables and memories aren't routed in this idea.

For Slums pt. 1: -Climb the building at the bottom and right of the stairs leading to the elevator. -Meow at Vapora so she spills the paint. -Run straight to Doc's (library) apartment and grab his journal. -Go to Clementine's (painted Outsiders symbol) apartment and grab her journal. -Go to Zbaltazar's (vent) apartment and grab his journal. -Go up to Momo's apartment and give him the journals.

For Slums pt. 2: -Exit Momo's apartment and go straight to the bar. -While following Momo to Seamus' apartment, grab the Super Spirit Detergent (thanks pixiedust5959!). -Enter Seamus' apartment and get the tracker. -Exit Seamus' apartment and go to the merchant to buy the electric cable. -Go to Grandma to get the poncho. -Go to Elliot and give him the poncho, then the tracker. -Exit via the window and jump into the alley. -Return to Seamus and give him the tracker.

For Midtown: -Go straight to the apartments. -Go to the second floor via the stairwell to the left of the entrance. -Go left from the top of the stairs to the middle camera; jump on it. -Jump on the camera furthest from the stairwell you went up. -Jump on the camera closest to the stairwell you went up. -Go up to the third floor via the stairs to the right of the stairwell you went up. -Enter Clementine's apartment. -Pull out the blanket from the drawer as she's walking to her board (thanks HibiscousDragon!). -After her encounter, return to the first floor by jumping down from the signs in the middle of the complex (thanks pixiedust5959!). -Grab a cassette. -Outside the apartments, make a right for the bar. -Wake up the delivery Companion. -While waiting for him to walk over to the box, go to the clothing store and use the cassette to get the worker vest; go speak to Blazer and give him the vest before returning to Hator's shop and jumping into the box (thanks Vitality_down!). -Steal the worker helmet and give it to Blaze.

Of course, if anyone has any ideas for optimizations, or if anything I wrote needs to be clarified, feel free to reply!
