Might have accidentally found something, but here it is.
I quit the game during the duskit fight yesterday, went onto the save file today and the cutscene for the gale garden or whatever it is started.
During the cutscene, the buttons at the top of the screen just... appeared! I had no idea what was going on.
So I continued spamming through the dialog. And all of a sudden, I was in the duskit fight. Not knowing what happened!
Here is a video (not a good one, but just know before I recorded this, I did do the above): If any of you wonderful people can explain what happened, leave it down in the comments (or whatever speedrun.com calls them!)

All of the IL rules say 'Get to the end of the obby' when it's supposed to say get to the end of the stage
I'm suddenly getting runs past Gale forest that are on 31:XX pace but then die due to bad luck on the gym or route 3.
I still get 6-8 potions (I get more than 6 just to be sure.) I also heal my pokemon (Just to be safe). I just don't get why I've been getting runs that are over a MINUTE AND A HALF ahead of world record.
But the real question is: How do I (or anyone else) get to defeat the gym leaders with close to an absolute certainty that you can beat it and either continue with your Wisdom medal run or complete your Harmony Medal Run.
