The skip involves taking cover on the back side of the crate, which clips you into the wall. Then you drop down onto the ledge. Your stamina runs out after falling, so you have to wait a moment before attempting the jump down.
If I remember this weekend, I'll post a video of it on the forum here. Otherwise remind me :)
I guess you're gonna have to fight for your shitty xbox 360 game wr for this one 😂
Nice, that was quick! You guys are making me jealous. I tried booting up the game again but it doesn't run well on pc anymore. 😞
Have you tried the dam fastrope skip? It saves like a minute or so.
And also, your GNBN route is so good. I don't think I ever got it that clean.
Sick! Thanks for submitting your run. It's always fun to see a new one pop up every once in a while to remind me that this dumb game exists.
If I remember correctly, the enemy spawns aren't actually random, but they can move around (because they sensed you) when you're in adjacent rooms/areas. When you reload the checkpoint I think it puts them back to their original spawn.
I highly recommend Rogue Warrior to anyone looking for a 20-30 minute run. It's one of the best, most underrated games Bethesda has ever published.
Besides crying like everyone else, I usually just retry that specific part for a while to practice and then I start over once I feel like I have a better handle on things. If I'm frustrated enough I'll just play something else.
The easiest way I've found to get the timers during a stream is to use OpenBroadcasterSoftware (OBS). You can add layers to your stream from a variety of sources (game, program windows, images, text, etc). I have mine set up so that the game is in the background layer, with an overlay image on top that has some images and graphics and my PB, and then my splits up in the corner. It seems to work pretty well.
I'm sure you can achieve the same effect with other streaming software, but I haven't found anything that is that feature-rich without paying a decent amount of cash.
Sup guys
That's understandable. Just thought I'd throw it into the hat :)
Thanks for the reply though!
Is there a way to mark all threads in a forum as read? I see the NEW indicator on forums even if I have entered the forum. This also seems to happen on empty forums even though there's nothing in them. It'd be nice if the NEW indicator only showed up when new posts or threads arrive, and then go away once I had a chance to see if anything looked interesting enough to look at.
