This might be a dumb question, but I'm planning on using the WASD on my keyboard for movement and the buttons on a fight stick for the A, B, C, and R buttons (for Maria Any% on Emulator). Is this considered cheating?

Not very related to SoTN speedrunning I know but SoTN related. I have a 196% file in my Sega Saturn and when I try to load it up it says "ロードできませんでした", using Google Translate it means "Loading Failed". What gives?! Is there a way to solve this?
