This is also the same on pretty much all the levels with the maximum checkpoint category. An exception is level 1, however there is still a checkpoint that is unreachable.

It is impossible to collect all the yellow apples in level 9 because there are three apples in the Volcanic Appel part that wasn't deleted, and cant be reached normally. Here is where they are:

I know that when you are on an Apple iPad, you are able to enable a battery saver. Doing this when running the game Appel, slows the frame rate. Would uploading runs to the leaderboards in this state be valid?

Ya, that is really wrong

It is a rather confusing category, the example run shows the player clipping beyond the border of level 7 and reaching another hidden flag off the screen. The example run can be found by clicking the rules tab under the category.
