Directly "altering the redstone are prohibited." is a rule, but no longer an Any% rule, cuz it's not a probable existing rule in the game rule. Only limiting block placing/breaking is allowed.

I'd just treat it as an exploit. "But just to warn you, you may only choose one. If you select a colour, this room will become inaccessible." means the "only choose one" is done by the map, not the rule.

Obviously It should be banned to run a branch for the twice time and use the good of the left map. Is it the only limitation?
