I'm not sure where I should go on the internet to talk about something like this so i figured i might try here. I picked up a magazine at a thrift store titled "Totally Unauthorized: Super Mario 64" and its a guide to getting all the stars in the game. But the reason I'm making this thread/post is because in this magazine it says if you go into a bowser level with 1000 coins your life counter will change to M25 and when you lose a life, you gain one; and if you gain a life, you lose one. After the M25 counter reaches 0 you will revert back to normal lives. Is it even possible to get 1000 coins? I've found nothing mentioning anything like this online and I'm not sure if it's actually true. I think I will attempt collecting 1000 coins and testing it for myself. Has anyone ever heard of this or know if this is not in the game?
