What if restricted is actually two categories? "No sequence break" and "glitchless" or something like that. We could do polls with shred or ask him what he thinks might work? Just some ideas.

glitch? major? minor? don't know

A problem is that bf:f is janky enough that it's difficult to not use some kind of glitch by accident. the desert bridge skip works without levitating if the right spot is hit and it seems not optimal to disqualify runs at this point because execution is not perfect. Allowing it on the other hand would incentivize using anything that has a small chance to work without glitching. Leaning towards a strict interpretation of "restricted" because i agree that otherwise the category doesn't make much sense. I have problems applying the category rules as written, one example:

patch notes april 6th:

"Konrad the Traitor is now skippable.

• The key to skip him can be found in his arena."

So skipping konrad is intended option, but not allowed in restricted runs. if trying to follow developer intentions isn't fundamental only category rules remain as focus. According to rules breaking belisarius ai is fine:

"e) You should kill Belisarius before you go to final location."

It doesn't feel fine for a restricted run to me, so i asked. Don't care how it's handled in the end - it's only that slowly putting together the pieces that might become a restricted run i'm wondering on some bits and not sure whether to follow the letter or the spirit of the category.

The first shows the kill plane in place that forces players to use the lift. Neither breaks any sequence or lowers difficulty in my eyes and technically is within category rules.

Is breaking Belisarius by approaching from the back in a certain way on first attempt resulting in his helper minions always ending up on the other arena plane during the fight off limits for restricted? Don't understand how it works in detail so far.

online viewing/seeking tested with private tab and from what i read the video should stay online as long as the account exists because something something block chain.

youtube does not allow uploading of videos >10 minutes without verification of identity. are there other acceptable sites that don't require private data?

Are loading screens faster than transitions in all cases?

Is pressing two directional buttons and angle view to run faster than just running straight? Was able to avoid wormlord sand storm using first variant but not with the second in a run where it cast the sand storm twice. Meaning it's not stats/load. Could be some quirk about the sand storm unknown to me as another possibility.

Just to clarify, it's necessary to use the lift because there is a kill plane that prevents jumping from top. So the enemy section before lift is the same and only running down stairs / jumping section is skipped. Granted, there is a small chance to fall at the jumping puzzle.

Can only find your unrestricted run from 5 months ago, could you please point me to the restricted one? I'd like to check on how to improve my restricted 01:36 up to archbishop wiggly. archbishop is a brick wall on ng i'm not sure how to get past yet.

It's possible to jump off the cage lift down to desert into the cut scene location. Is this allowed in restricted?
