I agree with Tume. By crossing the line you have won the game. No further input is needed to reach the "winner" screen.
I've added a resource which contains the necessary setups for these 2 difficulties.

I hope someone out there who may run these categories one day finds this useful.
There is now a Discord server for this game! https://discord.gg/fXx6AuZ All are welcome!
After some more deliberation, I can say that the Puma is certainly a possible best car for this category. It has damn good handling and turning response. Good acceleration as well because of its weight. It might be more difficult to learn however as it isnt so forgiving.
Can you please add, PAL as a region for the game? Can you also please add GBP & GBI to the platforms list?
Thanks.
What's gonna happen to the board then? Whats the solution?
I don't even know how to "fix" these boards anymore. Its probably best to split consoles. I also think the 4 classes of cars should be split. A Nissan Micra shouldn't be on the same leaderboard as an Impreza or 405.
The big problem is, once you start splitting these things up too much, it becomes a mess.
Can that possibly be added into the platforms? It exists on the "Namco Museum" cart.
Why is there no GBA version? The game was released on the "Namco Museum" cart so I don't see a reason why it isnt here.
Bump.
What if I want to submit a GBA run for this game? How will I do such if there is no category for it?
I don't have the funds for that. Looks like I'm sticking to composite, welp. I dont get why Nintendo disabled S-video, makes no sense. Guess there isnt a whole lot i can do.
