Pro tip: you can verify your own runs

you can suggest categories you personally want to run here, please also provide concrete numbers and rules will add them to a misc section

the community has decided to accept the run despite missing footage. the inventory and rate of production match up. congrats on your world record.

if you allow for segmented footage and play 10 hours on the first day then load and play 10 hours the second day. there is no way of knowing if you loaded the save on the second day played for 1 hour then reloaded tossed the footage and played again from that save.

but to limit this to a minimum i would propose the following rules:

1. segments have to be at least 5 hours long
2. segments need to be recorded over the span of 3 weeks
3. after loading the save move the camera and override the previous save

what do you think of these rules?

I have added a 4Package% Multiplayer and 4Package% category. It allows for segmented footage. This would allow you to stop the recording and sleep. This would also allow starting from a previous recorded 3 Package% save and doing only the 4th package, piecing the footage together. Any opinions on this?

I don't see how "exiting the pod before being able to move freely" impacts the run, can it give you a positional advantage? As of now there is no seperate 'glitchless' category. My view is to permit such glitches if they are not game breaking like the glitch that allowed sending multiple packages at once in multiplayer. Also the rules state: Runs that used bugs that become fixed in later versions may be invalidated depending on the bug, on a case by case basis that anyone can open.

I agree with the previous responses. As a shorter category i once thought of adding Box% (as a parody of steelaxe%) which would be more like a ~10-15 minute run instead of ~20-30. An alternate speedrun type could be to research stuff in the MAM. Purple Power Slug research% could be a thing. Skip intro could also be added. Let me know what y'all think. I'd also love to see blindfolded runs btw. Kappa.

After long counseling, the SUPER mods have decided to grant this wish of the satisfactory speedrun community. ;)

yes update 5 will also get its own category. experimental runs should not count.

Due to multiple requests the glitch is no longer allowed. Hopefully this encourages you to get a glitchless world record in 2 or 3 Package% AS A TEAM!

I think we should stick to major updates.

Hello uberubert, thank you for your contribution. my thoughts on this would be to either place the minerMK1 on lime to save 2 extra portables.(and walking distance i think) or scrap the miner to not need the extra biomass burner. If you want to use 2 external biomass burners note that you can power 2 minersMK1 and 5 additional constructors totalling 10 constructors 5 smelters 2 assemblers and 2 minersMK1. the tier 1-4 multiplayer is an outdated category, speedrun.com got reset and i didnt find the time to redo everything. generally the mam will not be included in the speedrun exept if explictily said so by the rules for example in the 100% category
