I initially made an account to ask a question (which I'll add to the end of my introduction), though after looking up a few old games I used to play as a kid on this website, I suddenly had an idea of attempting to speedrun these games. I'm definitely not going to become a competitive speedrunner. Most the games I wish to speedrun I've never actually completed before, so that'll definitely be a challenge, but I just want to at least try out speedrunning and see if it's fun!

For my question, is it possible to do two categories in a single run? I'm sure there are many games that do this where getting the good ending requires the player to achieve the normal ending first, and I was wondering if I'm able to complete the game up to the good ending, then submit two runs, one for the normal ending and another for the good ending.

I'm somewhat positive that the answer is "no," but I'd like to ask first. Completing the game normally will probably take me a couple of hours, and getting the true ending will probably add another couple to a few hours, so I'd like to be completely positive!
