I'd say running and submitting GB versions for now would be fine. The biggest concern for an advantage I can see are level transitions being instant. I'd imagine that it's a second or two faster than the consoles, and you'd be doing that 10 times, so you already have a pretty good time save right there. For now though, I think that until the board gets active and more competitive times come in, doing platform organization and what not can wait.
I've changed the timing submissions to include an option for adding milliseconds to your time. This is not necessary at all, and has been implemented mostly because of the challenge levels and how easily times can tie. You don't need to worry about putting down milliseconds if you don't want to, it's mostly only there for tie breakers on challenge levels. If two runs tie within the same millisecond range (I haven't determined the range at the time of posting this as it is unnecessary at the moment), I will manually look at both times to make sure the times are as accurate as possible. If I see two times on the leaderboard that tie and one or both does not have milliseconds on the submission, I will manually edit it, so feel free to not worry about milliseconds if you do not want to.
A while ago The Untouchables was broken into two seperate game pages, one for NES and SNES. Once the times were all set on the appropriate pages, the runs on the old page were deleted. On my profile, I still have my times from the SNES version on the NES game, but when you go to the NES game's page, the times aren't there. It's not really a big deal since it's only on my profile and not on the game page. I feel like this is an already known bug on the site for other games, but I thought I'd bring it up anyways.
With the new additions with the Overbork Update, there are a few new ways to run the game, plus a few new side levels. For now, I'm going to just keep the level categories that are up now. If you want me to add a subcategory for certain characters or for something that isn't added yet, just reply to this forum post or make a new post. I'd be happy to add them.
This post is directed to SubStylee, since I didn't really know how to get ahold of you. With the creation of the SNES game page, it would make sense to do away with the SNES category on this specific game page. I have moved the times over and everything, but was unsure if I should take the SNES category down. If you want me to do it, I will, or you could do it as well unless you are opposed to the idea. The move makes sense since both games are entirely different, this move will just further solidify them being different entities. Once we finish the move, you can remove me from mod if you wish for this page, but I'd still be happy to view runs since I typically have a good amount of spare time.
