I'd like to know if Verokster's patch is approved for this. PCGamingWiki lists it as the #1 recommendation for getting the game running on modern systems + adding widescreen support. I've been using it in my regular playthrough and now want to try to submit some runs.

(also I've been running the game on Linux with Wine, hope that's not a problem either).
