@Pac Since the new update I have noticed in the Main Sonic Series that certain games have appeared which don't belong there, as in they're are ROM hacks and not official games. How would I go about getting them moved off the main Sonic series and to the Sonic Fan Series section?

Would it be possible to bring back the option of changing the background when editing the theme of the series page? For the Sonic series we both used background and foreground and when changing the theme colour to bring back the old background it doesn't look right anymore.

Just to let you know that there have been some changes to the board.

Full-game leaderboard: Added 2 new categories which are Sonic & Tails and Knuckles & Tails. This was done because of consistency with the 'fly with the main character' mechanic, which is the same as in Mania. Plus other reasons such as reach routes you couldn't reach before and faster boss strats. Edited the rules to make it simpler. Game information has been updated.

Level Leaderboard: Added ILs and rules for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Sorted out the ruleset for Tails and Knuckles since it doesn't affect Sonic.

Resources: Some tools have been added so you can play the mobile version on PC.

Theme: The background and colours have been updated.

The level leaderboard is now live, have fun.

Just to let you guys know I have added two more moderators, Nimputs and Jujstme as they have been very active in helping out both in here and in the sonic speedrunning discord. Since a week has gone we're going to be working on the boards as soon as possible, most likely get the IL board up first since it sounds like that can be done pretty quickly.

With Team Sonic Racing coming out very soon, I have added the game and we'll be using this thread to determine what categories and rules should be added. Hopefully with the help of the community, we can get the boards up and running as soon as possible as I'm sure there are many of you who want to start speedrunning on this.

IL boards for this game will be coming soon. We're just very busy updating the sonic series which has needed it for a very long time. I am currently the only mod who knows this game and I have irl stuff to deal with and taking part in an important marathon this weekend, which I need to practice for.

New World Record on Sonic CD Tails Any% that I accidently got a couple of days ago. Finally cut the 12 minutes and am now 6-11 seconds away from the time you can possibly get due to the timer glitch :)

I am bringing my laptop, that has a VGA and HDMI port and can play Sonic CD easily. I need this game in 4:3 or I can't do some of the tricks.

I will be bringing in my Wii, the game Black Knight and will be borrowing Cyd's component cable. I tried playing Black Knight on my Wii U because it has a HDMI port, but I found out that I can't do some of the tricks because Sonic keeps double slashing. I can't change the sensor-bar's sensitivity on the Wii U, so yeah that's why I'm choosing the Wii over the Wii U :(

I can now confirm (finally booked the flight) that I am arriving late on the 28th so if it's possible to not schedule my games on that day please. Thanks :)

Just letting you know I'll be arriving on the 28th and leaving on the 5th. I'm the same as Cyd, I would like my games not to be on the 28th if it's possible.

Very sorry about this I did send a payment a day ago but I'm worried that I made a mistake as I barely use PayPal and the last time I used it, it was completely different. Could you please tell me as soon as possible if every thing is ok as I don't really want my games cut.

Might as well give a quick update before it closes.

For Sonic CD (2011) Tails Any% I am consistently at 19-20 minutes real time. As for Sonic and the Black Knight I have looked in to the game and can bring it down a bit further. I'll try again later tonight and if I get it might have to post a picture of my time as it'll take over 9 hours to encode and upload the run.
