All the records submitted have been timed differently, since at the time of submission there weren't rules on exactly when time starts/stops. However, now that the category rules are concise on the topic of timing, I believe the existing runs should be re-timed according to the new standards.
There's been some ambiguity with the way runs in this category have been timed, so I suggest the following:
The moment at which the timing should start should be immediately after the "Would you like a quick tutorial" and "Make as much money as you can in x minutes!" messages. The reason for this is that the guests only start appearing and you are only able to answer questions after you get through these two messages.
The moment at which the timing should end is as soon as the game ends. The wheel spin and tokens made are added as soon as the game ends. You don't even need to really spin the wheel to get your tokens. However, I still recommend showing the wheel spin and final token count just for confirmation that token limit was indeed hit.
Some things I've said before:
Monster Brawl: It should be split into Snowy Fields (normal diff), Snowy Fields (challenge diff), Clocktower (normal diff), and Clocktower (challenge diff)
Chroma%: The category rules state "Starting with 0 tokens, unlock a chroma as fast as possible," however all accounts start with 25 tokens. This is just an observation.
Pack%: Since there is a category for unlocking a chroma as fast as possible, I think it would be fitting that there would be a category for completing a pack as fast as possible. The RNG
All Solo Games: Category rules state "Complete all Solo games as fast as possible win or lose, no factory." I personally don't see a reason for why factory should be excluded as the shortest possible solo factory game is only a minute.
Some new ideas:
Crazy Kingdom: Lose as quickly as possible. Max out as fast as possible either materials, gold, happiness or people.
Open one of each pack as fast as possible from a fresh account.
Interesting strat idea, definitely would be riskier. I don't think it'd be viable for full tower runs, but probably worth it for shorter ones.
