Very interesting. I've tried to do it in the Android version which is most likely a port from Xbox, but it didn't seem to do anything, but now I tried again and it actually worked, though the cutscene doesn't seem to start at all and I hear the sound of the city not able to move because the buttons disappear while in the save menu. The game still crashes on loading such a save. But I decided to take a look at it with the save editor, and it says that I have all the hidden packages collected.
Hey guys, not sure if it can be considered duping related, but I managed to save during the intro cutscene Just hit the pause button right after you have picked up the save icon and start a new game, then during the fourth part of the cutscene the save menu will appear.
The game crashes if you try to load this save. You can't close the save menu either. As far as I understand it, closing the save menu would allow the player to move in the cutscene. So my question is: what else could allow the player to move that could be triggered the same way?
Not bad. Figured out how to get Avery's Stretch with this. Thanks, Bastant2!
Very nice.
One more thing: suppose you know that missions seem to crash the game eventually if duped with an asset. But they don't if you buy a specific property after you fail the first instance of the mission. Buying Hyman Condo helps in the case with Two Bit Hit. It's shown in this video I made: By the way, I did some research, and it appears that the assets where you're supposed to complete missions break if you use them for duping. There'll be no missions and save icon to be more precise.
Hi! Has anyone experienced this kind of glitch? I duped Two Bit Hit using Asset Glitch Variant, turned out that it helps to get Avery's unique limo. So I decided to test if I would be able to complete the game after it, and after some play time this happened, though the pickup was absolutely normal at first. If I save the game and load it after quitting, it crashes when I get close to the mansion. But it doesn't if I pass any mission first, though the pickup gets flickering and the game still crashes if I collect the money. Not sure if it's really a by-product of mission duping, but I've never encountered it through normal gameplay. So, any ideas what else could have possibly caused this glitch?
