Hey guys,
just got a notification of which follows: https://ibb.co/e94afb But if I clicked on the marked entry, I'll end up here: https://www.speedrun.com/run/463128
The user doesn't seem to be having submitted a new/better run on that star. So, why can't I see this..?
Thx for any kind of answer! :)
has someone a copy of the vid? or did anyone do a new/better/optimized one..? :/
these questions come cause people dont read other threads...they got a question and want to ask it. directly. at once. sad about that, too, but thats just the way it is...even if u would stick this rule in the forum, questions will still come...dont know, what this is, but its definitively this way...but anyways: thx for your try, clearing this up ultimately, tyler! :)
You can skip the erasing-part, when using Aglab2's Star Manager – a program to view collected stars, actually made for new rom-hacks to explore but of course does his purposes for the orginal game, too. ( https://github.com/aglab2/SM64StarDisplay ) It has an option "Delete file on reset".
May I suggest another category to you? It's called "Non-Stop", the leaderborad is found over here: https://www.speedrun.com/sm64ns And the code needed is this one: https://sites.google.com/site/sm64gameshark/codes/non-stop
@eddez02 Another LB, so it means: different mods. Please ask on that place! Thx :)
the console already IS released... https://www.google.com/search?q=snes+mini+release

at first someone (e.g. you) gotta do a run, record that and THEN ask for a representation on a leaderboard. the rest is up to mods, if it will be accepted. just how it always works... :)
so...as brodute just released v1.1 the questison remains: will we do just a version difference, will we add new variables or should we differ this in a complete new game/hack/leaderboard?
could this be a thing instead of the "long" setup? https://www.speedrun.com/sm64o/guide/1mvlm
can some affine skilly experts test, whether its somewhat consistent and so on?
ok, nice nice...but one last question: any no dda (i think the normal any from before?) is only 3 minutes slower than the new discovered dda...
no offense mate, but why the f¤¤k did your run take over 2h 40min? :D when its now (as a still relatively young category) already at 1h 8min...
oh...i see, thx!
but what did "Test - Any%" mean and what does "Any% DDA" stand for?
nice idea IN GENERAL but youre probably at the wrong place. the official original game is full of restrictions. youre event not allowed to change marios cap to yellow (via gameshark codes etc).
but post this question in the sm64 rom hacks forum, if they want to add this particle :)
Could someone summarize (like a map, or with points and lines) how these connection-warps work? Would be a nice tool in the resources for newcomers... :)
what do cheese & co say about this? could it be faster with perfect routing/execution? how to contact them? dont wanna spam a personal message...someone got intensive contact to the top-sr'ers?
ok, thought it was a single "bitdw" vid...i know all of his stuff :) thx anyway!
http://sm64hacks.com/hacks.php forgot that lol
on this site u got all the romhacks (and original, just scroll down or search via ctrl+f) prepatched as an .z64 file-ending :) hf!
Hey guys! Could somebody please tell me, what this was about?
Here a screenshot: (the marked one) https://ibb.co/dBoUDk
This is the link, it lead to: https://www.speedrun.com/run/454151
could u pls put the vid here? i didnt manage to find it, sry... https://www.google.com/search?q=pannenkoek2012+bitdw+down+warp&oq=pannenkoek2012+bitdw+down+warp&gs_l=psy-ab.3..33i160k1l2.2678.14323.0.14576.23.22.1.0.0.0.439.2757.6j11j1j1j1.20.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..2.14.2178...0j0i67k1j0i19k1j0i22i30k1j33i21k1.0.nxK0rqoXcKI
in some hacks it does work, seen it too and been confused either...but i think its a map-import/collision thing. in the normal sm64 it definitively doesnt do so. similarly how u get centered when pushing keys into doors. in hacks u sometimes go right from it and push it into the wall...
