We approved QD's last run even though it was split into multiple VODs. It would make things easier if everyone makes sure that they record a local copy when they're streaming from now on:
Make sure you tick the boxes for "Automatically save stream to file" as well as "Keep recording if live stream stops", then if Twitch disconnects you during the run, you can upload the video to YouTube or similar and you will still have an unsegmented run.
In the future, we may reject runs that have several VODs.

I might rewrite some of this and put it into my guide on GameFAQs, if that's ok with you. Most of the strategies I have in that for survivor mode are very old, from the time the DLC got released. Trauma, for instance is from December 2014. Much has happened since then.
I'll give you full credits, of course.

Just to be clear, future runs on PC that use the M17 low fps door glitch will be rejected.
Here is a section of the rules:
"Game corruption, random memory leaks by keeping the game open for too long and other non-reproducible glitches are not allowed."
It falls under the non-reproducible glitches category.
Using the glitch on console is still acceptable.

I tried to see if it was possible, only thing I found was interlaced 30 fps which was unbearable for me to look at. I didn't even start the game to see if it worked. I know some games requires 60 fps and an FPS counter visible on PC for speedrunning, for example Fallout 4. It's something to consider if it becomes a problem.
This has been part of speedrunning this game from the start, along with double-binding keys. It's allowed, I don't see any reason to change that now.

We agreed on no third-party tools, so that means the glitch is off the table until something new (within the confines of the game) is discovered and is usable by everyone, regardless of hardware. It is a one minute time save, which is pretty huge.
Your two runs submitted that used it will stay, but don't use it again in a submitted run until it's something anyone can use without third-party programs or downgrading their GPU.

Your latest run is all good. Congratulations!
I noticed that you're not listing Flashbang (V.3) in your write-up. You always remember to pick it up, though.
Make sure you remember to delete the save files prior to your following runs, and demonstrate that your journal is empty at the beginning of the videos. It makes everything a lot easier.
Your M6 was something else, you almost got away with it, good stuff. Also backtracking for stuff in M11, M12 and M13. I quite enjoyed the run.

I think everyone who's playing on PC should use the load remover moving forward. In a perfect world, everyone on the leaderboard would improve their PB's with it, but that's probably not going to happen.
We'll see how things are in a month or two, when there's more data. But for now, having the leaderboard sorted by "times without loads" doesn't give an accurate picture.
-d
Once this has been tested properly and we get more players using it, we might change the default time to time without loads. I don't know what to do with the existing runs, there's no easy way to remove the load times from them. I thought about some automated system, but it could easily be foiled by Twitch starting to buffer a video for example.

I just rewatched some parts of QD's run that had cutscenes (M1, M2, M8) and both timers kept going in them, which is good. In his run, he mentioned it being paused for the M1 cutscene (bridge), but it wasn't paused there either.
It works as far as I am concerned.
It looks promising, but it shouldn't pause the timer during cutscenes - remembering to skip those is part of the speedrun ;)
Some more testing is needed, need to make sure the loading circle (I take it that's what makes it tick) isn't present at other times that isn't a loading screen. I don't think it does, but I haven't really looked for it.

I just watched your entry, great work. Congratulations! You getting away from the android in M4 was awesome.
Next time, can you make a list of the timestamps for the blueprints (and deaths)? It makes it a little easier to follow. Similar to this:
0:10:54 Medikit (V.1) 0:26:16 Smoke Bomb (V.1) 0:29:38 ¤¤ Death - Lorenz Lobby (M3) 0:31:47 Smoke Bomb (V.1) (Repeat) 0:39:31 Flashbang (V.1) 0:39:43 EMP (V.1) 0:46:54 Noisemaker (V.1) 0:47:30 Pipe Bomb (V.1) 0:50:47 Molotov (V.1) 0:59:33 Smoke Bomb (V.2) 1:02:43 Flashbang (V.2) 1:24:41 ¤¤ Death - Facility Control (M10) 1:29:11 Noisemaker (V.2) 1:41:33 EMP (V.2) 2:01:29 Molotov (V.2) 2:31:07 Flashbang (V.3) 2:42:46 Molotov (V.3) 2:47:46 Medikit (V.2) 2:51:27 Pipe Bomb (V.2) 2:52:43 ¤¤ Death - Engineering Transit (M16) 2:53:45 Medikit (V.2) (Repeat) 2:57:17 Pipe Bomb (V.2) (Repeat) 2:59:49 Pipe Bomb (V.3) 3:04:21 Noisemaker (V.3) 3:09:04 Smoke Bomb (V.3) 3:25:34 ¤¤ Death - Habitation Decks (M17) 3:34:25 EMP (V.3)

Nevermind, it seems to have sorted itself out. Perhaps the updates are delayed.
I'm having a problem with the Alien: Isolation leaderboard. I was editing an entry and left the hours at 0, when it should have been 2 hours. Now, the entry fails to update no matter what I put into it:
Isn't this all messed up now, the times for runs with loads are all in the wrong column?
I've had something similar happen in Fallout 4, with not being able to access the task manager when it crashed - I got to it when I created a second desktop. It's not a fix for the crashes, but it might help with that aspect of it.
