Fair enough - it might even be best to just record offline and upload runs to sites rather than do it live.
Thanks for all the info! Totally test it out this weekend.
My CPU is Intel Pentium J2900 @ 2.4GHz - believe it's dual

Hey guys, I've been practicing some games and I think I'm at the point where I want to start streaming and/or recording. I've used OBS before for a let's play on my youtube channel, but that's about it; I know how to capture the video and record live audio from my mic ontop, but that's it.
What is the easiest ' point A to point B' ways of streaming, especially for a PC that isn't the strongest? Are there are differences between using Youtube Live vs Twitch?
Thanks for your help and I hope to get up and active soon
I think any international version of the game had the singing section removed as it relies on rhymes and devs didn't want to go through the trouble of creating new content for each language.
Just joined the community and haven't done runs yet. I'm going to try a game called Downwell - small community and I'm decent at the first half of the game.
Hi there, My name is D'Arcy, Darcyska, and I'm planning to start speedruns in the next little while. I've been a fan of watching marathons, starting with GDQs and going from there.
I'm 28 and have videogame experience writing on hbhud.com, cover news and doing reviews and some podcasts. I've also done one playthrough (casual), but plan to do more. My favourite style of games are adventure, so I might try some runs of classic Lucasarts games soon. For now I'm going to try out a game I'm a big fan of called Downwell and go from there.
Hey, brand new to the site - so new that I haven't posted an intro yet as I want to get some practice in before I start running. Anyway, Downwell will be a game I'm going to try to run (still haven't beaten it yet, but can clear 1 and 2 pretty fast). One parameter outside of style could be a no rooms category where you don't grab any items from shops or caves.
