Hello! Not at all. You can do whatever you love here. Everyone speedruns differently. Some of us just go around doing all the categories quick as we can, some of us strive for decent runs and then move to the next. I'd say I fall into that category. Then, you have the world record holders. Take abney317 or cheese05 for example. They've been running the same game for over 3 years now. With that being said, no! There is nothing wrong with doing that at all!

a lot of moderators will say you have to have splits, but it is accepted. there is no rule stating you need splits. long as you have video evidence and don't break the listed rules your good.

That wouldnt matter to much though long as the rules dont clearly state audio is needed. cause i know some do.

Afterall, I did propose that if you got someone to agree I'd have it changed. I'll make it happen tomorrow. For now, I'll just add the category.
One issue. pc allows touchscreen. So regarding your statement, the games being faster in that sense can be discarded. Excellent feedback though thank you randomno. :)
However, if both of you still think this way, I'll change it now.
No need, upon submitting a run you can say what platform you ran the game on. Look at randomno he has two runs on this leaderboard. It's because of the different platforms. Your allowed to do the same.
However, if you can get another runner to agree that it is a substantial difference in gameplay/route I'd be more than happy in making a separate category for it.
It was also discovered that the platform you wish to use is faster! So I have considered this before, though I am still uncertain.
As far as we know these are currently the same series. It's a little confusing to even distinguish the two. They even seem to overlap one another. So they have been combined.
Why is samsara room included? Although it wasn't made by the same developers, many themes and elements from this game are used in the rusty lake series. It's not officially part of the series, but we included it anyway.
I don't require you use splits. :) I tend to count runs of this game frame by frame. Regardless, if you still wish to use them, I can't really help you. I'll try and send someone who knows the program better for you. ^_^ cheers m8 happy gaming!
