I don't see why you wouldn't be able to
I suppose, personally I'd submit it to both when applicable just for the sake of it
Is this a plug just to try and get your invite code out? That's just sad
Does that mean that technically if a run doesn't have any secondary objectives that the Any% run is also a 100% run?
I'd imagine they'd technically count as "another player" since they still function as one, even if they aren't controlled by an actual person.
I can't really think of any mission where having a bot wouldn't just be flat out slower than going without them....They tend to get in the way and stay back and fight the monsters rather than race ahead with you.
The unlimited naval production glitch is the only one I'm aware of, and I'm not even sure if it's been patched out yet or not.
Paradox usually tries to patch these bugs out to keep MP balance.
I agree theres so many actual singleplayer things in the game it's kind of weird none of them are actually categories we can run....Instead all we get is random ground forces things exclusively with weirdly abstract goals
What SioN said, but yeah I don't see how that would matter at all.
Recording software like OBS can record just fine with windowed or fullscreen or windowed fullscreen without issues.
If you mean easy as in "Easy to get into" then I'd say Karlson 3D is an easy one, and it's free and easy to DL. It's short sweet and simple.
If you mean easy as in not requiring much skill? Lots of old early 2000's games are like that since they are easy to cheese. I moderate the Ghost Recon: Island Thunder and Ghost Recon: Desert Siege games and both have a "recon" gamemode that is laughably easy to run in a short amount of time with very little skill.
the original Ghost Recon can be run on PC and will basically run on even the most potato of PC's, you can also get it off steam for like a buck or two for it + the DLC expansions.

The IL's are great, lots of potential and very speedrunnable game, especially the expansion standalones
From just watching the runs I can basically understand what each one is, but theres no actual concrete game rules clarification on them to know what they actually are and how they work, other than the gamemode and vehicle types allowed.
Light tanks as purely support in templates with some upgrades seem to tear through SP AI's builds. It's basically budget space marines
It would definitely be more accessible to run for a lot of people compared to a speedrun of the entire game from start to finish.
This game is perfect for having Individual Level categories.
Highly doubt it's faster than the stylus...The stylus feels near instant...at minimum it'd be comparable to a mouse in speed
That being said this game is 16 years old so finding a copy and also having the hardware to both run and record it is ....well....Prohibitive
Are emulated runs allowed? Only asking because I've lost my copy of the game and don't have a capture card that works with my 3DS (not even sure it still works ngl)
As soon as you gain control of your sim when the map zooms in on your lot the run starts. (After character creation and picking a lot)
[ * TS3 & TS3 Category Extensions: General Rules *
- Timer starts whenever the camera zooms into the lot ]

So as you have all probably been able to tell it's kind of chaos sorting everything out. Sometimes a radical change patch comes in every 15 days and sometimes theres a dry spell for months upon months on end.
It's hard to tell what to count and what not to count, and how to categorize it all. As of now I've separated it into the post-Wawsp addition and the pre-Wawsp versions
However as you all know, you can't download or access older versionso f the game unless someone has themem and sends you them or you just so happen to have them. It's a bit unfeasible and impractical to have a leaderboard for every tiny change and category.....but each release of the game really does often times drastically change the times you can get in each category. For example: the terrain changes, map location changes, burst damage being nerfed, physics bugs, overall item changes.
I want your guys's input, if any of you are out there to give any. I'd love to see more people playing JG like they were earlier this year, and I want to make it understandable and fair for newcomers as well as all you veterans.
