Now that Earthbound is on 3DS, that needs to be added to the systems available for runs, correct?

We got better categories thanks to Mr_Shasta reaching out as a series mod. Now we have a lot more categories to pick from! Enjoy!

Here's what I think would be good categories:

A completion mode where you start in either Talon or Frigate and ends with being the Metroid Prime.

Categories for clearing the Phazon Mines (choose single mission, beat the Omega Pirate), clearing the Phendrana Drifts (choose single mission, beat Thardus). I know for sure these two single mission modes have actual in-game timers.

If I was guessing, it'd seem that the other tables, the Temple and the Impact Crater, probably do as well, but I haven't unlocked those yet on this save.

There's also a multiplayer only table that's a "race to 100k" type of thing. It can be done with one person as practice. That doesn't have an in-game timer, but could still be run.

I suppose that could be one, but I don't think the category was even intentional because no rules have been set up.

But from what starting point? From just choosing multi mission and getting there from Talon or choosing the Impact Crater?

Having an Any% completion mode for a pinball game (i.e. infinite game) doesn't make any sense to me. We need categories that actually align with some of mini games, like time to beat the Omega Pirate, Thardus, the Prime Metroid (both forms), Meta Ridley. That way there's something to actually speedrun.

I'm asking because there isn't a completion mode for Any% to make sense. It's a pinball game. It's infinite. There's a number of mini-games and stuff, and that's what we need categories for. I mean, I don't care if he's removed or whatever, we just need better categories since Any% doesn't make sense.

Hi, I'd like to be the moderator for Metroid Prime Pinball. The game has been added for a while and the current moderator, FireNels hasn't set up any categories or submitted any runs. I'd like to have control of it so I can actually set up categories and submit some runs.
