anything that happens related to you, not only movement, counts for the timer, we should specify that better

So, lets say im doing an oathless speedrun and instead of going to each location by boat, i go to the bounties and rejoin until i find the one that i need, is that viable? does that count? like im going to stand still while im rejoining so, the timer will continues even tho im standing still without moving while rejoining?
