I'm having trouble clipping through the 3rd Bowser Door and I'm doing it how katze did it but every time I try I fail. I don't understand how.

In Bowser's Slippery Swamp, theres a hill where you have to kick using B to get up the slope, but when I try to press it, it only lets Mario punch, so it sends him down. Any tips or help?
