If the video were cut, wouldn’t it reveal itself within the character moving or the timer changing? I think requiring sound is a bit much

I typically play WKR with the sound off and was wondering why the rules require it on. There doesn’t seem to be any reason a speedrun would need it and I was wondering if the rule could be changed
