What makes glitchless different from any%? Are there glitches in the run now? I haven't been here in a while so pardon me if there are any new developments.

I did notice that the rules were changed from stopping your timer on the last hit to stopping your timer at the beginning of the last cutscene, but Meta's run still stands and he stopped it on last hit as well. My run is still faster regardless so couldn't we just add a few seconds to it?

I would venture to say that if you need to have DE at version 1.0 for something to work, it should go in the glitched category regardless of whether or not it's a simple skip.

It may not even be that big of a time saver depending on the skip, since you wouldn't be able to connect to the internet so the game will try to connect and start you out at the bottom of the menu after every mission so you have to move up to next mission and wait to be connected only for it to not connect you. This is one of the few instances I can think of where being connected to the internet is actually faster lol.

Regardless, I've found a couple of short skips on my own that I haven't recorded yet. I'm not sure if you have them or not but if you don't end up posting them I'll upload some.

I have my Heaven or Hell time down to 1:22:03, yet NirvanaZero000 has their time in the NORMAL game just a few minutes slower. I have wanted to watch the videos associated with the run but they do not have a seek function for whatever reason, and are not available on NirvanaZero's Twitch channel.

My run is currently glitchless, although I do exploit a bit of movement stuff and I have found a few more things I can do to speed up the run and set ups for them (stuff like getting to angel grapple places faster because the animation takes longer, things like that). But I haven't found anything that skips significant parts of levels, just faster ways to get to the same goal.

So if any of you guys know anything cool for skips, please let me know! If there aren't any skips, I gotta' now how on earth NirvanaZero was able to go so incredibly fast when I thought I had it down pretty well with 1 hit killing bullets.

Stinger on stairs, got it. At least that's easy enough and there's barely any room for messing up. It seems like angel glides are actually fine for now xD I can't remember whose run I was watching but there was a mix of a bunch of stuff (probably angel glide+evade) and it just looked like it was super crazy and sometimes that gets translated in your brain to equal faster xD Thanks guys!

I'm fairly new to speedrunning this game, although I've been playing since it came out. I'm the type of gamer that uses really cheap strategies to beat stuff though (infinite climb op) and I haven't used MOST of the move upgrades, actually. I was watching a few runs and I've seen some crazy stuff that looks like it moves way faster than just my lackluster method gliding and fast falling over and over again.

So I was wondering, what is your strategy/the best strategy for movement without using any glitches (Iike infinite glide)?
