I suppose you could check the video file to see when you get the seed if it shows the verification token as well, and then copy it down manually character by character, then resubmit the run with that in the description. that's the only way I can think of unfortunately

when you play FSG, the generator also puts a code below the seed that will act as a sort of key that the run verifiers can use to check if the generator actually gave you that seed or not. it only matters for fsg. for example, this is copied directly out of the FSG generator I use:

that at the bottom is the verification token, where it says, well, verification token. you just have to copy and paste that into your description for your run when you upload it and submit it to the leaderboard

I just use the Livesplit One Chrome app, it doesn't have global hotkeys but it works fine for me and it's easy to set up. if you go to one.livesplit.org on Google Chrome you have the option to download it as a Chrome app and once you do that it's quite easy to use.
