i have a question on how https://www.speedrun.com/randomgame works, as of right now at the time of this post there are 17,193 games on this site, if i was to put https://www.speedrun.com/randomgame into the search box in google 17,193 times and assuming i've never used the link before would it bring me to every game 1 time or like some games 3 times some once some none (assuming the amount of games on this site stays the same the whole time)
im not sure if this has been brought up before or discussed but maybe a way to seperate the runs require verification setting to certain categories, i moderate a game called hungry shark world and the entire IL leaderboard runs on in game time so does the misc category, i would like to turn off runs require verification for the il board and the misc but not the full game categories and i can only have it on and off for all categories which stresses me out
@Bukaharris_101 i've added you as a moderator, if you could dont verify anymore of your own runs, you can keep the ones you already verified on the board but self verifing is pointless

i would love some assistance but you need to enable mfa in your settings then i can add you
any maps i missed? also where do those sharks go, i would like all sharks to go in the il leaderboard the same way the game has organized (never beat the game). Also if you could in all future submissions show the shark and map name if you dont already idk :)
as of now no more runs of hobo 2-7 will be verified on this site :(
i have started on the moving of the hobos 2-7 to a document :)
@Bukaharris_101 i've added all sharks and maps i know of to the il leaderboard, please resubmit your pendimg runs to the appropriate category please and tell me if i've missed anything

what this is about is there needs to be some changes to this page and i'll explain but i need to start from the beginning I've been playing this game for a long time now, as long as i can remember my entire childhood and when i came to src i really wanted to speedrun this game, i was hoping for a large community and to have lots of fun competing for wr's etc, as shocked as i was it wasn't on this site, i figured out how to submit a game request, as happy as i was it was verified... the first one not the next or the next or the next... just one. I was quite confused on why they aloud one but not others, requests for the rest of this series on this site were made https://www.speedrun.com/hobo_1-7/thread/3xu6u but there was nothing i could do. I decided to make this board into hobo's 1-7, it worked out great the community grew and we got new runners and more people in the discord etc. yesterday i wanted this game given the multi-game tag along with the webgame tag, site staff (and im not gonna name names) but told me it was against the rules for me to do so and i needed to change it back to hobo 1, respectfully i am gonna do so. I am unsure of what we are going to do with this board and where the future of hobo speedruning is gonna go i would like to have a place for people to submit runs, me and @cinemassacres the other moderator have decided we are gonna make a google spreadsheet but i dont know how people are gonna find it without this page on src so i think we're gonna keep it
we will be copying runs and setting up a new leaderboard, any ideas, comments or anything can go in a post down below V or can be directed to me in a pm on twitch or discord or in the hobo discord :)
edit: im gonna try to get runs moved to the spreadsheet asap
