United StatesYeah i like that idea and would like to run it. But that kind of category is too much of a meme for it to be in the misc or on the full boards because its a side side category. It sort of belongs on a (as of right now not existing) category extensions board imo
i would like to second owen's post as a part time runner of this game and possibly a full time one, to an extent, not so in fact that i would like his post but i feel that it would be of major importance to this game to replace or try to bring back activeness to these moderators due to the poor job they do as far as paying attention to forum posts and questions asked by runners, from what i've been told at least the people inside this discord have made attempts to reach out to these inactive moderators, i really see no point in adding moderators to this game for the run verification aspect of this game but more so infact due to the said "very bad way the rules have been set up, timing methods, etc" aspect and at the same time removing https://www.speedrun.com/user/Mars-Does-a-Do as a moderator would not be a bad idea, for condensing the mod list would make the game look much better in my opinion also considering the mods are hardly active except one. my main point of sending this message is to point out i think you should remove the inactive moderators (assuming ofc that the people who reached out to them actually did) and maybe possibly if neccessary mod @owen5560 cause like i've stated there are questions and probelms arising, but at the same time adding owen as a mod doesnt seem terribly neccessary if there was 1 of these mods who would read and answer the forums

But the answer is yes and im trying to change that to make another option to where you dont have to go through such a long process as deleting your entire request having to rewrite everything even the information thats correct and have to send it to the end of the line
Well lets just say in the additional information box you forgot to include something important you want the mod reviewing your request to know to increase the chance of it being approved which you only realise you should have mentioned while your thinking about the chances of it getting verified after submission but you didnt really realise it during the time of submission or by mistake didnt include it if that makes sence (has happened to me), also with the mobile glitch that occurs with filling out the realece date which i've posted in the site bugs forum, you dont really notice this glitch until you look at your pending actions and see the realeace date says it was today which like i've stated would mean you would have to go through a long process to get it resubmitted (if your wondering why i dont just submit game requests on my computer my wifi's broken rn so i have to use my phone). Also yeah thats a good point probably the main downside about this change, maybe there could be a feature where it would say "sorry your game request is currently under review right now it is too late to make changes to your current game submission".
With game requests theres no way to make changes to your game request without canceling your entire request having to remake it and send it all the way to the end of the line, we need an edit request option
So when you fill out a game request on mobile when you fill out the release date and tap anywhere on the screen about 66% of the time it will replace what you've typed with the current date, at least it did for me a few times
hello so i wouid like to report the ban of garlicbox on this site who was super mod of the Papa Louie Series https://www.speedrun.com/papalouie and all the games in it. I have talked to the community and we have come to an agreement that we should report this to replace him with new moderators so we can all still run these games, after privately talking to a good group of runners most agree i would be best for moderator of the games. Papa Louie 1 2 and 3 he's been replaced in already . in The Papa Louie Category extensions Page https://www.speedrun.com/plcategoryextensions#Papas_Hot_Doggeria if @Celeris could be bumped up to a super mod that would be great, and please add me as a moderator of the following games, Papa's Pizzaria,Papa's Burgeria, Papa's Taco mia, Papa's Freezaria, Papa's Pancakaria, Papa's Wingeria, Bumped up to super in Papa's Hotdoggeria, Papa's Cupcakeria, Papa's Pasteria, Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Bakeria, Papa's Susharia, and Papa's Scooperia with the addition of a run pending in scooperia.I know it seems like a lot but i am totally capable of moderating these games due to the large amount of free time i have on my hands and if my request gets accepted i promise to rest with these mod requests for a long while, I SWEAR and one last thing theres a game thats fairly similar to these cooking games its called toastellia https://www.speedrun.com/Toastellia theres no moderators in the game anymore and i would be happy to moderate it if it seems to be needing it Thank You

@Liv i totally agree, i thought the exact thing when i first saw the speedrun page. Levels 10 and levels 20 as categories should not exist but maybe levels 1-15 sounds ok if it was in the misc due to the length of any%
secondly sure i get it if the game is not ran by a large crowd theirs no reason to add moderators but i am not the first person to submit runs to this game, and in this situation i understand why my mod request was rejected and if you guys dont want to add me as a moderator thats fine but could you at least find a way to get my valid runs on the leaderboard or at least delete the silly leaderboards that really shouldn't exist, theirs no reason why my valid runs in this game should suddenly not be allowed due to the absence of the only moderator while everyone who did exactly what i did but at a different period of time gets their runs on the leaderboard
Edit: about 10 minutes after i posted what i did above i started reading some of the older messages in "Requestion leaderboard moderation" and i notice @Daravae already kinda responded to what i was gonna request before i even requested it if that makes sence so i'll respect his decision considering thats probably one of the best ways to go at this problem anyways,
and another thing @Daravae i only moderate in 11 games (only 1 of which i moderate alone) , and most of these games aren't even very hugely ran , i only get maybe 2 runs on average every 14 days (most of which being il's which i can go through in no time whatsoever) i need to go through which i can totally balance easily 150x that considering all the crazy amount of free time i have on my hands (not even exaggerating) and too kind of add to this abit i feel like it should up to the user to decide when he/she is overwhelmed with moderator duty not the site staff for we probably know alot more about how many runs get submitted and when too much is too much for us to handle

hi so i've had a run pending in paper.io for almost 3 weeks now, there are 3 moderators, @Other was last online 2 weeks ago but after contacting him on the only places available to me discord and twitch (he doesnt have a discord even though he's linked 1) and have yet to get hear a response. @JakeWalrusWhale hasn't been online in 2 months, i've tried contacting him on twitch but did not get a resonse, discords showing me the user doesn't excist. @Greifmaker he only has discord and the same weird problem occured it shows his account doesn't exist, he's been on the site 2 days ago but doesnt verify my runs, i dont know what else to do besides ask for moderator so i can verify my runs
Hi and another thing, i have a run pending in MLP: power ponies go https://www.speedrun.com/powerponies i know my run hasn't been pending that long but i also know @Otterstone_Gamer has had a run pending there for over 2 weeks now and i did a run also, he also requested mod due too the current mod inactivity (hasn't been online in 5 months no contact info either) and his request was rejected daravae- "I've been going over the rather large list of games you currently moderate, as well as how many you requested in the past couple of months (also counting the ones Kirkq treated and rejected) and I think its better considering the large amount of boards you already moderate to lay off these requests for awhile." could i be added as a moderator of the game so i can verify mine and otterstone's runs and any other runs there are
