Congratulations on completing the run The gameplay was smooth, Unlucky with the cellar key, but you kept it together and finished strong. Looking forward to seeing more, keep it up :)
Hey Rebloid
Thanks for submitting your 100% run. ive reviewed your run and made necessary adjustments for a slight approximitley 50 ms delay at the start, resulting in a final time of 1hr:45min:40s.74ms. Your run was solid, and good dedication to completing all objectives. However, there were a few areas where small optimizations could lead to improved times. Streamlining movement and optimizing encounters might shave off some seconds for an even better run in the future. You did a fantastic job achieving all the objectives, from collecting items and completing quests to beating the game. It's clear you put in the effort
In case any other moderators spot additional areas for enhancement, please consider their feedback for future runs. Keep pushing the boundaries and enjoy your speedrunning journey

i agree also, just wanted to double check with other mods
well done and congratulations 🎉 , im happy you enjoyed running this game. also feel free to join the spiderwick discord to learn new skips/tips 😄
Hi Im not from this speedrunning community but ill try summarize why I'm here, so I run a similar game like this made by the same developers, it pretty much follows the same mechanics, movement, and gameplay style. What I've also noticed is that the game has a great amount of cutscenes as well as the one I'm running. so I can see a pattern, the game I run is pretty underpopulated and has a huge chunk of its time taken up by cutscene similar to these, and I have come here looking for some type of cutscene bypass. So it might not be a perfect match of instructions, but would anyone know or explain how the cutscene mechanics work, how the glitch is preformed or even any alternatives? at this point any information is valuable :) some things you might want to know are..
The game Im running:The Spiderwick Chronicles Any% platform:pc cutsenes: unskipable with use of every button
yeah, i realized that later on, but i think a category for INSL (international sprite league) would be ok as it acts as a mini game and can be completed fast.
Hi, so i was thinking earlier. that i love to run this game now and then but hate the amount of time it takes to complete a run or even if you fail it and need to restart. and that made me think Hey, what new categorys could be added that doesnt require completing the game fully but instead completeing an aspect of it then i came up with the idea of fairy%. ofc this is pretty self explanatory but for those who wouldn't know. It would be trying to catch all fairys as fast as possible, i just wanted to see what people thought of the idea before i start making decisions :)
ok i have a basic server ready to add whenever
im willing to make on for anyone who visits the game in the future which could contain meterials for everybody, if its only a mod only thing then what would i have to do to become a mod? i understand that the game is underwhelimg and 3 mods is more than enough.
if i do end up speedruning and requesting the DS version, are you aware of any possible way the 2 games could be added as a series like other titles on the site?
i agree, i think there should be a DS category as i was planning on speedruning it but realised there was no category for it. and that it's a RPG style game which would ultimately make it more dificult
