It is pointless to have this discussion as long as it was originally decided by the rules, but let's check just to be sure.
Haydee can open the infobox by pressing the F1 key to check the internal data.
However, in my personal opinion, this infobox is full of useless information other than IGT when measuring time, and it significantly interferes with the game screen.
Moreover, the game screen goes dark when moving from one area to another.
Of course, if the screen is dark, the measured time cannot be seen, so cheating is possible if you take your time.
It is out of the question to make it impossible to check the measured time.
In Resident Evil RTA, if a part of the verification video is cut off for some reason, the recording will be rejected even if the time on the results screen is well displayed.
You get the idea.
With an external tool like LiveSplit, you don't have to worry about that because the timer is always on the screen.
That's why I set it up with real-time measurement and rules, not IGT.
So, just to confirm, do you prefer real-time measurement or IGT measurement?
BTW, using a mod that only shows IGT is defined as editing the game file and is not allowed in the rules.
I have one question.
When I watch the recorded video of this game, it appears that after taking the handgun in the first room where you take the handgun, the slasher moves all the way to open up a spot when going through the incoming slasher.
I have just done this myself hundreds of times and have never been able to reproduce this technique.
Is there some update or something that has come in that makes it impossible to do this?
I watched the recorded video and the distance is not the distance that a normal camera can set in the Haydee options.
If you are using a mod or something like that, wouldn't this fall under the "editing saves or game files is banned." rule?
