Well thanks all for your ideas, I found my game! I enjoyed playing Neon Abyss which is quite recent, and there aren't many runs on it right now so I'll start speedrunning it soon! I don't have to learn the game since I played it casually. Feel free to come to check the speedrun.com page of Neon Abyss if you're interested in the game, I'll also probably try to create some specific runs which can be funny.

IBefore reading: My name's Zorkle, I'm from France (so please be gentle for the approximate English :D ), I'm a speedrun beginner and I'll start speedrunning Neon Abyss from now! Since there aren't any many categories and much runs for now (which is obvious since the game is pretty recent), I thought about somethings.

I'm thinking about running this game and I think I'll try some special kind of runs which are :

• Any% no Items No Heart No shield : Well, it tittle does explain it, it's a run where we just start from the beginning, kill argus and all that without taking any hearts, shield, weapons... So if you take some damages you gotta deal with it, no way to recover health ( gonna be a pretty hard run, to be honest, but seems good to me).

• Any% no Items No extra : Same as above but we can recover Health and take extra shields, the shop is allowed.

-Any % no damage: Well, it's kinda obvious but the goal is to kill Argus without taking any damages for the whole run. No damage taken allowed, shield nor hearts.

-Any% Katana run : Any % with Saya, only using the katana. Gotta kill argus with that great Katana!

And that's all for now! Those aren't official runs for now but I hope it will be later. If you are interested in any of those runs and wanna discuss something, or submit some ideas feel free to put those here! Thanks for reading!

I have a Nintendo switch and a strong pc. Would prefer something I can run on my pc because it's easy to record, I can use an emulator if needed btw.

Well, to be honest, I don't really mind which type of game it is, it could be 2d or 3d (perhaps 3d is a bit hard for me to begin with). I'm just looking for a "funny" game to speedrun. Except for racing games, I'm open to every type of game ( perhaps also no puzzle games). So yes I know that's kinda vast. I think RPGs or 2D games suits me more, but open to any kind of game.

I'll write it, seems to be a good idea, yeah, those games might bring a lot of fun. Thanks for the game.

So hello, my name's Zorkle, I'm from France and I'm looking for a game to run to introduce myself to speedrunning. I'm looking for a game that can be done in 1h (more or less), without " run killers glitches" (because I don't wanna end 40 mins run with a bug or something I misplayed). Looking for any kind of game but would be great to have a "casual approach", I'm not afraid of learning patterns to execute glitches but not the kind of glitches that took days to learn.
