California, USATo clarify, "Apply Default to Runs" only applies to runs that dont already have a subcategory/variable? It wont affect runs with one already set?
I'm the lead mod for Gang Beasts. I have old archived categories for old game versions. For newer versions, I've switched to using a variable to separate old runs since I think it works better and keeps everything visible and accessible. Now that I am unarchiving old categories to start the process of moving everything over, none of the runs in the archived categories are visible
(categories marked Legacy are the categories that I just unarchived)
Due to the most recent update changing the Grind map and making it more difficult, the current leaderboards for Grind solo and coop will be archived and reset very soon! Your runs will not be deleted, but moved to an "archived" category, in order to save a snapshot of the current leaderboards. A new set of Grind categories will be opened with fresh leaderboards. Next time you run, make sure you are on an updated version of the game, and submitting to the correct category. Changes like these are also announced on our Discord server. If you have any questions, I recommend joining our Discord and reaching out to me or one of the other moderators.
Howdy! Due to popular demand, I have changed the rules on the "All Levels" category to allow levels to be done in any order. I also rewrote the base rules to clarify that all 4 waves need to be done in the waves mode, not just the last one, since a few people were confused on that due to poor wording. The rules will stay as they are until a significant gameplay update, unless a strong reason is given. The community at large already voted on the rules that they want, and I'm not going to change them any time a few people ask
Spawning objects is currently not allowed. I can add this to the official rules.
Ive moved runs with outdated mechanics to new categories. No runs should have been deleted (except 1 which took down its video). Let me know if any mistakes were made
I've created a Discord server for Gang Beasts Speedrunning. I can be contacted there as well.
I've also updated the games rules. They should be visible under [View Rules] > [Game Rules] Nothing significant has changed, just more specifications

I have a completed run for ps2 emulator. Can this type of run be allowed? Alternatively, can a new category be made for ps2?

Just complete the last wave of any level in "waves" mode, and use IGT for the leaderboards
