Well I recently made some major changes to the full-game leader board. http://www.speedrun.com/Destiny/full_game

Since the change he has been trashing the leader boards saying we ruined them, but his main complaint was that we merged the Crota's End solo runs together instead of separating them by class. http://www.speedrun.com/Destiny/full_game#Raids
As you can see under the Crota's End solo tab Shadow is now rank 10 when he use to be rank 1 under the warlock class.

If you actually decide to read all of that you may have noticed all posts that weren't by either me, or him were people saying that the leader boards are much better this way then before.
Just to make him happy we decided to put it to a vote.

As of writing this 100% of the people have voted that they want to keep it, but that,s not enough for him.
Then we told him if he wants to give his ideas to the community then he should join the discord, which is where almost 100% of the discussions for the game happen now, but he refused to join.
At that point I realized there was no way of coming to an agreement with him so I decided to stop the argument there before he decided to bring this issue to the main page forums (I apologize for posting here but I've run out of motivation to even try)

Some of the posts got deleted I'm assuming one of the other mods did, or him after realizing how rude his post was.
I again apologize for having to bring this issue to the main page forums but I'm essentially arguing with a brick wall at this point, and I just want this childish arguing to stop.
One: I haven't posted a run to the page since pre 2.1.
Two: I'm not gonna try to handle opposition when I know it's going to be useless.
Three: If your gonna act like a child then why not just leave. We don't want people who blatantly disregard what literally everyone in the community has agreed on.

"and it would involve no arguments" you are the only one arguing literally everyone else in the community likes the page the way it is now except for you. Again we aren't gonna make tabs for just Crota solo/3man trust I already recommended that but it got shot down quick.
We're not making any changes to the IL leader boards so please just drop it. You are the only solo crota runner that has made any comments toward not wanting the category merged. This is just going to be a losing battle for you, as everyone else in the community loves the new changes to the leader boards. Sorry you think we fucked up the whole page, but this was a change that was long overdue.
those are miscelanious runs aka runs we don't want you to see unless you look for them.
Plus we would have to remove pre 2.1 and SRL from the page since they would fuck the leaderboards up if we could make that change.
for full-game not IL
Plus it would make things way worse.
It wouldn't show all of the IL missions which IL is the main category to run in this game, and it would just be plain messier
You see no reason why it can't be implemented since you aren't a mod. This site doesn't have the capabilities to do that for IL missions, and if it did it would take almost 6 hours to get everything right.
If there was more opposition to this change then we would try to find a compromise, but I can't make those changes myself without the other mods agreeing with the change.
I mean I'm all for finding a compromise but the other mods I've talked to haven't.
Mostly because if we did separate the Crota solo category because of class advantages then we would have to do the same for IL's since class type gives a major advantage in every IL mission.
Plus separating the Crota categories should have never been a thing in the first place.
The crota tabs were changed since people in the discord felt like it was unnecessary to separate them since no other missions in the entire game are separated by class type.
We have made a strawpoll if you haven't noticed letting the community vote on it.
Removing categories wouldn't work since everything but the New Game category has at least 1 run.
I can't fault you for not knowing the inner workings of the page, but doing this also cleans up some of the mod only options
the game leadeboard freaked out and duplicated the Misc tab.
plus the temp mod thing would be to change the leaderboard back to the original I would make all the categories, all you would have to do is move the runs over.
The same rules apply to this vote like they are in the death warp vote.
Fine if you want a vote then we'll have a vote, but if the change is reversed then I will give you temp mod and you will have to fix it. How does that sound?
