Adding the lastest finding here for documentation:
With the new Follower Hiring glitch in Emerald, the time of the day is not relevant anymore for the potions. In the old route this was only required because of the alignment check at the Judge's house.
In the new route, we can drink the potion whenever, as long as it is 5th of May, 1168.
Hi all, adding to this "I loaded a previous save" topic:
I am currently running any%, and at times it happens that I load a save from a different attempt on accident. Of course I load back into the current attempt immediately, but Fixxxer stated that alone would make the run invalid. Is that true?
Fair point. Will keep that in mind for the future if we might find similar things
I see, thanks. I just wondered since both say the same thing.
I don't know if that classifies as a real bug, but i noticed that "view all" and "runs awaiting verification" don't show the same. My actual run which awaits a verification only shows up in "view all". See the picture, both sides opended at roughly a second apart: https://ibb.co/tYtzWCb
Thanks for the reply! I want to speedrun glitchless anyway, so not being able to do them would not be much of a problem. I would not say that hardware mod is downright faster. Maybe if I get the route down I will just do both modes and see how it really differs.
Hey folks,
I just noticed some differences between those two graphic modes. Movement seems to be more smooth with Hardware Accellerated 3D, while in Software 3D the movement speed seems to depend on direction and the surface you are walking on(?). I roughly tested the walk between Harmondale entrace sign to the signpost (~10sec in Software, ~8sec in Hardware). And I climbed into the griffon pit in Erathia north of the stables, which felt much faster in Software 3D. Then went to the Obelisk and walking felt weird there again (slow to the left/north, very fast to the right/south).
Has anyone ever looked into this?
(tested on german GoG Version, patch 1.1)
