well it may be.. set it to 30 and try again.
I did a run but why are all my posts being rejected now?
I'm also suggesting you lock your FPS in the game to 30. Remember build times and spawn rates are tied to frame rate in this game.. yep it's one of those types of programed games. So if not locked at 30. your build times may be drastically increased, on top of spawn pits spawning way too rapidly.
i know and I posted a forum thread about, we need more categories..
you are right they didn't even list the rules. I think this game just didn't get any real traction and so the moderators just left it alone.
I think either you or I would be fine moderators for this forum as we seem to be the only active members interested in this.
So I merely suggest you start a thread with your recorded runs for missions and that will be the document for it, until we get a new category. WE can even establish our own rules here in this thread and use that as canon till further notice.
I agree. One mission is one to two hours.. a full run of all main story missions would take a day to do... literally. Single mission runs, and by the day not by the IRL time. I believe these could be our standard. Also i mean.. yes what about the side missions of maps? Most speed runs are just 'complete' but not 100%. :P
I'm doing single mission runs, speed runs of in-game number of days.
I think number of days makes way more sense than just total time it takes, as you can just speed up the game and if you're really good at that, puts you at a huge advantage.. but you still could have taken far longer than another player in in-game days.
So I am doing speedruns for fewest in game days.
anyway I have a 'run' of a single mission, streamed it last night:
This uses a glitch. We also need new category, allowing or disallowing the exploit.. so 'glitchless' or 'any% allowing glitches'.
New run..
expansion - kingmaker. Mission - parental care. time - 65 days
