Would it be allowed if I recorded my run with screencastify, then recorded that recording with a timer on the screen? That would reduce my lag a whole lot.

Yeah, there's only so much a laptop can handle (although they shouldn't lag this much). I've been looking into other ways to get a timer onto the screen, and I've kind of found a way, but it doesn't save enough time to move me on the leaderboard anyway so I've decided not to do it. But please let me know if you figure something out that might help me reduce lag! ;)

The rules state that there must be a video and a timer, but it also states that you don't have to worry about the timer because moderators will re-time it. I was curious if I could record a video and then add the timer afterwards? I recently submitted a run and you can see that it lags quite a lot. I can't get an actual split and pulling up a timer on the side of my screen lags the game so much. Would this be allowed or will I have to find a way to reduce lag? Thanks in advance!
