Zorlax has covered the issue with the 3DS VC versions :( There's nothing stopping you from running the game on there but you'd not be able to do the major exploits. But you are always able to to run the older route. LeonP made a tutorial for this a while back now. Obviously you wouldn't be able to get a WR time from this route but it's a start. The other option of course is to run on Emulator using a JP 1.0 ROM which most of us here do. There's a download pack with has the Emulators which are allowed for this game and ROMs which also have save states to learn from too. They can be found here - http://www.speedrun.com/ladx/resources

Ok so tonight i've put together a Challenge Card with 25 objectives to complete. Nothing to tasking but it's something for you to do :) This isn't a bingo card so don't just complete a line. All Objectives are to be completed lol.
So last night I decided to do Tompas puzzle which he posted above. I did manage to complete the puzzle but D8 was a issue not knowing exactly how to do it. After speaking with Tompa there are some other rules which I broke :P It's a fun puzzle to do plenty to think about too :)
The rules are - No Villa Skip, No Dethyl Skip & No Super Jumps. (Say's L2 at all main but means Sword I collected L2 Shield anyway)

Last night a few of the runners had a race and unfortunately Disclude ended up Freezing hot head in his place. (See video below)
So today myself and a few others decided to figure out why this had happened and also what to do if it does happen.

So if this happens again don't kill yourself just carry on killing hot head :)
Everyone has something they're renowned for doing in runs such as falling in certain pits failing jumps or deaths or entering certain dungeons with 1 heart.
For me it's always grabbing the Heart Piece of Shame :D (I don't even avoid it)

Hi all this morning I've been playing around with bomb triggers. I'm sure many of you have already looked into what happens when the Bomb Event Trigger happens. This is what I've found nothing we don't already know but it might help somebody else understand.
I know this doesn't explain what it actually happening in a Bomb Event Trigger but shows why they happen in a particular order?
The Sprite which is at the Highest Point on your RAM Watch will take priority when triggering. In Dungeon 7 you can not destroy Pillar 1 or Pillar 3 without the Green Zol being Dead Which takes up Sprite "0280" When you transition from Pillar 1 to Pillar 3 room the Values Hold until you're fully transitioned. Therefore the bomb placed in the transition is wanting to trigger to Zol and not Pillar 3. If You BET trigger from Pillar 3 to Pillar 1 Room it Spawns the Zol without the need to go near him. The Zol and Pillar 3 Share the same Sprite Memory "0280" but I have no idea why the Zol is taking Priority.

Pillar Room 4 always puzzled my why the Zol didn't spawn first even though it looks like it's sat higher then the Pillar it's actual value in the RAM is higher then Pillars. To figure out which value belonged where I killed the Zols/Pillars to see which value disappeared.
I know this might not be something new to some people but hopefully it explains it to others. I'm completely new to looking at this debug memory stuff so go easy on me :)

Here is a list of the known "Bomb Event Triggers" as of 22/09/2015
Over World -Raccoon will become Tarin -Open Dungeon 8 without the Frog Song -Open the Windfish Egg without Ocarina or Marins Song (All 8 Instruments required) -Will wake up the Walrus without needing Marin -Cancels some Owl animations -Pieces of Heart are instantly grabbed -Fairy fountain in Forest "Flashes" her away -Skips some Owl animations -You can initiate the dialogue with the "SaveTheGuy" -Guy on the mountain.
Dungeons -Will instantly grab Instruments from their rooms but will Soft-lock. -Will make some enemies appear/begin their movement early -Any Dungeons - Will make the Blade Trap enemies clip through the walls in a endless cycle once all other enemies are dead. -Dungeon 2: Genie: The bottle just bounces around and the battle never begins. -Dungeon 3: Slime Eyes drops immediately, instead of having to "bonk" the wall. You can S+Q to skip the text box here without soft-locking the game -Dungeon 4: Immediately stars Angler Fishes attack pattern, slamming to the left part of the screen. -Dungeon 6: Breaks Elephant Statues in the room with L2 Power Bracelet and Statues on route to Facade. -Dungeon 7: Pillars will drop without throwing the ball at them -Dungeon 7: Spawns 2x Evil Eagle bosses. Killing both gives you 2 Heart Containers -Dungeon 8: The pushable blocks for the floor puzzles will start moving and you can control them from the door. (Enter North/South of screen) -Dungeon 8: Will "destroy" the pushable floor puzzle block (Enter from East/West of screen) -Dungeon 8: Hot Head will pop out immediately, instead of the 'grace period' the game usually grants you before he begins his pattern. -Windfish Egg: Skip the text at the beginning of fighting the Nightmares
Bomb event trigger in D8 allows you to move the pushable floor puzzle blocks and also "blows-up" then block when entering from left or right. (There's a slight wait before I destroy the block on the video)

Hi all,
Once the rule sets have finally been finalised are we able to get a description of some sort within the "Guides" area of the forum which has a list of each category defining which rules to follow within the category and a list of banned tricks/glitches.
I think this will be helpful for all runners not just new comers and we will have a set of rules to reference too. As opposed to somebody saying "Yeah we banned that last week" :)
