Shouldn't the 100% require the 15 pieces we do know of to be collected though?

It seems like there is a way to skip text, but the best I can do is fast forward it by holding right. What's the best way to get past all the story text in the game?

I was doing a few runs of the game today on the PS4. I noticed that without the rope, his walk is slightly faster before he jumps down than it is after. This slows you soon for the other 70% of the game when it only takes about 4 seconds in total to get the rope and jump down.

Overall, you would save a handful of seconds by going for the rope instead.
