ok since it seems there is still some confusion and it's literally my run you were comparing i might as well explain: game is in early access -> every update changes a lot of in-game stuff -> speedrun strats tend to get patched

now here's the thing: individual level boards do not get reset -> the WRs on those boards could be any version of the game up to like 3 years old -> adding up all individual WRs =/= best theoretical run, because the individual level WRs are all different versions of the game

To create a best theoretical run for current patch you'd have to know all CURRENT patch individual WRs and while you can filter by patch thats also going to be flawed as people rarely upload runs to a leaderboard that is patchlocked (a.k.a with an unbeatable wr time set in an older patch) Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

just wanted to add now that this is outdated info the autosplitter works now and it shouldnt break again thats all

oh, the wall clips are called "ub clips" or "ultraboost clips" and they've been recently patched out of the game, on the previous version you were able to clip through some walls by shooting out the core eject, hitting it with mal. railcannon, then sliding. Unless you have the previous patch of the game, you can't do it anymore. yup, it sucks.
