I installed the DMC4 SE version of DDMK to try the multiplayer function with a friend, and I forgot to uninstall it before doing a run attempt, and I noticed that the input lag that I usually had when trying to jump out of Lady's normal shotgun firing animation seemed to be reduced and the game all around seemed to play more smoothly. I wanted to get an official ruling on whether or not this should be allowed, since reducing input lag could be a noticeable advantage, and also maybe have some other people double-check to see if they noticed a difference in input lag or if it was just a placebo effect and I was just imagining it.
