Currently, the 120 and 0 star categories are the only ones that specify a required star count. None of the others do. So by the current rules, you can submit 120, 70, and 16 star runs in the 1 star category. Is this how it's supposed to be? It really isn't in the spirit of a 1-star run to collect every star. I understand not saying a specific star count, like a 16-star run should still be valid if you accidentally collect the MIPS star, but it really seems like there should be more rules, like requiring MIPS clip for 16 star and SBLJ for 1 star to avoid having runs that really shouldn't be on the leaderboard.
Also, somewhat related, I feel like the "No BLJs" rule in 70-star is kind of weird? I understand that it's there because that's how 70-star runs have always been done, but nowadays it feels really arbitrary, especially when things like Bomb Clip and Pillarless are still allowed.
I just came up with this idea, I don't know if it's any good. (Don't have a name for it yet).
Basically, crossing the entire map as fast as possible. Timing starts on the first frame of movement when exiting Hawa Koth Shrine (far southwest) and ends when entering Tu Ka'loh Shrine (far northeast). Teleporting, major glitches, and master cycle are banned.
It's possible to beat this level in about 10 seconds, all you have to do is click the X button and click "yes". If you do it too fast, you get forced out of the level and don't get the Level Complete text, the best I have been able to do is about 15 seconds.
(Reposted here since I accidently put this in the main BOTW forum)
Beat the game without using any stamina. If the stamina wheel appears during gameplay, reload the previous save.
For reference, these are actions that use stamina:
Running Climbing Gliding Swimming Charging an attack (including using a fast spin attack) Entering bullet time mid-air Taming a horse Mounting a Lynel Pushing heavy objects
These restrictions remove the possibility of using windbombs, BTBs, and other glitches, so it would be significantly different than a regular Any% run. In addition, both leaving the Shrine of Resurrection and getting the final hit on Dark Beast Ganon require workarounds that you really wouldn't see in any other runs.

SMG2 All Comet Medals
Basically, from a completed file, collect all 49 comet medals. You can pause and exit after each collection (you don't need to collect any stars). Timing ends on the last comet medal touch. You don't have to collect them in order.
(Starts from a completed file because otherwise, you would have to collect 240 stars to unlock Grandmaster Galaxy and it would basically be 100% without the final two stars.)
(I know there's a thread for submitting categories, but I just wanted to see people's opinions first.)
